EU ENVIRONMENTAL CODES FOR PACKAGING
EU-Directive 2018/852 regulates a system for the labelling of packaging materials. The aim of the regulation is to provide customers with the right guidance as to how packaging materials should be collected, sorted, recycled, and re-used. In keeping with this regulation, every packaging material is to be identified with an alphanumeric code. These codes are defined in the EU Commission Decision 129/97/EC. In the table below, you can find the EU environmental codes for all the packaging materials used by Codan Rubber.
